Fillers
Dermal fillers are used to restore lost facial volume, soften wrinkles and folds, and enhance or restore the natural shape of the lips. Often referred to as a non-surgical liquid facelift, dermal fillers can achieve many of the rejuvenating effects of a traditional facelift—without the need for surgery.
The treatment typically takes 15–30 minutes and involves a series of precise injections using very fine needles or a cannula.
In addition to restoring volume, hyaluronic acid fillers provide deep hydration to the skin. The hyaluronic acid used in our fillers closely resembles the body's naturally occurring hyaluronic acid. Together with collagen and elastin, hyaluronic acid is an essential component of the skin's connective tissue. It attracts and binds water, helping to improve hydration, elasticity, and overall skin quality while maintaining results for up to 12 months, depending on the treatment area and individual factors.
The dermal filler range used by our supervising physician has been clinically proven to reduce visible signs of ageing while effectively restoring skin hydration. It is therefore a popular choice for treating fine lines, wrinkles, and age-related volume loss while achieving natural-looking results.

What Are Dermal Fillers?
Dermal fillers are injectable treatments designed to restore lost facial volume, soften wrinkles and folds, enhance the lips, and improve overall facial harmony. They can also be used to deeply hydrate the skin and add definition to areas such as the chin and cheekbones, creating a more balanced and youthful appearance.
Often referred to as a non-surgical liquid facelift, dermal fillers can achieve many of the rejuvenating effects of a traditional facelift—without the need for surgery.
The treatment involves a series of precise injections using very fine needles or a cannula and typically takes 15–30 minutes to complete. Results are visible immediately, although the final outcome becomes more apparent once any initial swelling has subsided.
Results and Longevity
Results generally last 6–12 months, although longevity varies depending on the treatment area, the product used, and individual factors such as metabolism and lifestyle.
To maintain your results, follow-up treatments are recommended as the filler is gradually broken down by the body.
Side Effects
Dermal fillers are considered a safe and well-established treatment when performed by qualified medical professionals.
Common temporary side effects include:
-
Mild swelling
-
Tenderness
-
Redness
-
Occasional bruising at the injection site
These effects are usually mild and resolve within 1–3 days.
To help minimise bruising, we recommend avoiding aspirin (acetylsalicylic acid) and other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) before treatment unless they have been prescribed by your physician. Always consult your healthcare provider before stopping any prescribed medication.
Although rare, more serious side effects can occur. Your practitioner will discuss these with you in detail during your consultation before treatment.
Dermal fillers are suitable for most healthy adults. However, treatment is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or for individuals with known allergies to any of the product's ingredients.
Risks
As with any treatment involving the skin, there is a small risk of infection, bleeding, allergic reactions, or other complications.
Please inform your practitioner of any medical conditions, medications, allergies, or circumstances that may increase your risk of complications or require additional precautions. This is particularly important if you have diabetes, a weakened immune system, or any condition that may affect healing.
We follow strict medical hygiene and infection-control protocols to minimise the risk of complications. If you are unsure whether dermal filler treatment is suitable for you, we recommend consulting your physician before your appointment.
To reduce the risk of infection, avoid touching or rubbing the treated area for the first few hours after treatment.
We also recommend applying a broad-spectrum sunscreen (SPF 30 or higher) for several days following treatment, particularly on the face, neck, and décolletage, as the skin may be temporarily more sensitive to UV exposure.
Please remember that UVA rays penetrate cloud cover throughout the year, even during winter and on overcast days. Some indoor light sources also emit low levels of UV radiation, making daily sun protection an important part of maintaining healthy skin and protecting your treatment results.
